Title: Troubleshooting the Warrior tension readings on log?
Post by: Tayyab on March 31, 2010, 07:36:03 AM
Hello,
We have a warrior tension and depth panel. The depth is working fine but we cannot measure the tension reading. The Log shows the Tension but not the tension reading (Its stays Static). We have tried to solve this out a lot of times, but cannot see the difference in the tension readings.
We have a Reliable Model 565 tension Measurement panel. The Outer tension cable is connected to this, it shows some readings. Then we connect this to our Warrior Tension panel, but it shows nothing. We need to know if there is a Software problem or Hardware problem.

Regards,
Tayyab

Hey come on now,is there no one.....write what ever comes to your mind.....we need ideas to solve this issue.....

I have checked the readings on warrior tension panel....they are okay.....exactly as the manual suggests.

Setup of Line Tension:

4-SEC Secondary Function Parameter ( When do we use this parameter and what are the readings that we should keep)

5-tOt Totalizer Parameters (When do we use this parameter and what are the readings that we should keep)

Tayyab,

4-SEC, and 5-tOt parameters are not used in the Warrior Depth panel at this time.
You may need to recalibrate the tension readings via the Warrior Software.
You may also need to reset the factory defaults of the tension meter parameters by enter code 66 on (9-FCS - Factory Service Function). After the tension meter reseted, reprogram the paramters as shown in the Warrior Depth panel User manual. You can download a copy of the manual from our website, under the download section- user manuals.

The warrior tension panel supplies voltage to run a 4-20ma presure transducer. It also outputs a 4-20ma current to the interface panel. What is your tension panel putting out, Voltage or current?
