PLT XY caliper we calibrated with 4 ring sizes and one in open position. Verification showed ring sizes good.
Then we run in hole and got difference in diameter of casing. Nominal ID of casing 148mm we got on log 158mm. I don't understand why we got like that if calibtation is Ok. Please do you have any idea?

Without looking at the data and the tools, I would guess that the tools make no temperature correction
