PLT XY caliper we calibrated with 4 ring sizes and one in open position. Verification showed ring sizes good.
Then we run in hole and got difference in diameter of casing. Nominal ID of casing 148mm we got on log 158mm. I don't understand why we got like that if calibtation is Ok. Please do you have any idea?

I would guess that the tool makes no compensation for temperature drift.

If the tool doesn't make compensation for temperature drift, hw can we solve this compensation?
